A Delmonaco Winery Wedding | Mallory + Andrew
June 8, 2019.
The day started out at Mallory’s parent’s house for prep. All her bridesmaids wrote her letters and she decided to read one from her friend and her sister…some tears were beginning to shed so she decided to save the rest for later…Andrew arrived and waited for Mallory to get into her dress to do a First Touch and read their letters. The letter reading was a very emotional moment, lots of tears for this. It was now time to go to the first look location.
The first look location was amazing, it was at Barron’s Bluff in Smithville, Tennessee. Andrew’s reaction to seeing Mallory was perfect. after capturing a few moments of them we then travelled to the church for a few pictures and the ceremony.
Lots of family and friends attended, it was a packed! One of the best parts of the ceremony…Andrew tried to kiss Mallory before the Officiant said “you may now kiss your bride” lol! From the church, we traveled to Delmonaco Winery for the reception.
The reception area was beautiful, lots of natural light coming in the ballroom area, and the vineyard was full and green! After some fun moments with the bridal party and parents with the bride and groom, we spent some time with just Mallory and Andrew in the vineyard. They were so happy and fun, I love seeing couples that just enjoy their wedding day and don’t get stressed about any of the details and needing to do video and take pics…I mean if we are lucky, this only happens once a lifetime, so why not enjoy it and take the time to capture some of these moments, right?! The reception was a blast! Lots and lots of dancing! Wonderful first dances, and one thing I have to mention is, Andrew is a superhero and Star Wars fan, so Mallory had superhero groom cakes made for him with action figures surrounding them—So Awesome! The toasts were amazing…especially Andrew’s brother’s toast…funny, emotional and just one of the best toasts i’ve heard at a wedding.
A little about Mallory and Andrew…They met at an internship in Columbus, Ohio. after being friends for tow years they decided to start dating and then got engaged after just 4 months. Andrew proposed in Nashville on Valentine’s Day in 12South, where they had their very first date.
